About Judicial Academy, Assam
The Judicial Academy, Assam, located at Amingaon, Kamrup (R), is a premier institution dedicated to the training and development of judicial officers and legal professionals. 1. Stenographer (Grade III)

Pay Scale: PB -2 Rs. 14,000 – 60,500 + GP Rs. 7,400
Essential Qualification:
- Must be a graduate from a recognized University.
- Must possess Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography having minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in shorthand and computer typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
2. Duftry (Grade IV)
Pay Scale: PB -1 Rs. 12,000 – 52,000 + GP Rs. 4,400
Essential Qualification:
- HSLC pass or equivalent from a recognized Central or State Board.
Other Criteria of Judicial Academy Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India as defined under Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit: Candidates age must between 18 to 40 years as on the last date of receipt of online
application.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- 3 years upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC category.
- 5 years upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category.
- 10 years upper age limit relaxation for PWD candidates.
