Assam Public Service Commission
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is a state recruitment agency for recruitment of Group ‘A’ officers and Group ‘B’ officers for the Government of Assam.Shri Kameswar Das, an educationist of repute of Assam, was the first non-official Chairman of the Commission after promulgation of the APSC Regulations 1951. He held the office till July 1952. The Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India. The primary mandate of the Assam Public Service Commission is to conduct competitive examinations, interviews, and assessments to select deserving candidates for various civil services positions within the state.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Degree in Science, Commerce or Arts with Statistics, Mathematics or Economics as one of the subject of study in Degree course from a recognized University. The Minimum six months Diploma in Computer Application is desirable.
Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment 2024
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
