About Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under the Government of India that recruits staff for various posts in the different Ministries, Departments, and Subordinate Offices. Established in 1975, SSC conducts exams and interviews to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process for Group B and C positions in the government sector.

Other Criteria of SSC Recruitment
Age Limit:
Stenographer Grade C: Candidate age must be between 18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2024, i.e., candidates born not before 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2006 are eligible to apply.
Stenographer Grade D: Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01.08.2024, i.e., Candidates born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006 are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
