TYPES OF RESUMES

There are four types of resumes in the format that you will come across and they are-

  1.The chronological resume

 2.The functional resume

 3.Combination resume

 4.Targeted resume

In details, I would like to give you some definitions on the types of resume to have a better review-

  1. Chronological Resume

This is the kind of resume, where your work history is to be arranged in accordance with time. Starting with the earliest to the latest you have worked for. An individual with a working experience should use this format. Remember, not to use this format if you are a fresher, a latest graduate or one who does not have any working experience before.

  1.  Functional Resume

It is completely the opposite of the chronological resume. This format is proper for the latest graduates, who do not have any experience of jobs.  Here you need to mention about your skills and capabilities and any experiences. The candidates like college graduates or the freshers, who donot have any previous experience of jobs, can use this.

  1. Combination Resume

In this particular format, you actually need to mention your experiences and skills in details. You need to tell your experiences to the most. It does,  want a working history in a chronological manner. And so, always try to present yourself to the most.It asks to state about your own history of experience and qualification. And also about your experience and knowledge for the applied position in details.

  1. Targeted Resume

Finally, In this format, you need to highlight your experience and qualification in particular. This information and details  is to be given targeting the position you are applying for. So, the details of your experience  and qualification should be in regard to the position of the job.  It can be a bit elaborative. So, you should  be careful enough  to highlight your points to make a good impression. This a very nice format where you can say about yourself  in more.

WHAT IS A BIODATA THAT PEOPLE COMMONLY INTERCHANGE WITH RESUME?

I am glad to make you familiar with the term BIODATA. The  biodata is an acronym of the meaning BIOGRAPHICAL DATA.IT is a document which includes all the biographical information about an individual.
