1. Physical Standard Requirements (Height & Chest)
For Male Candidates (General, OBC, MOBC, SC): Minimum height of 162.56 cm; Chest 80 cm (normal) and 85 cm (expanded). Relaxation is provided for ST candidates as per official rules.
For Female Candidates: Minimum height of 154.94 cm with appropriate physical fitness benchmarks.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Scoring
Candidates must qualify in the 3200m race (male) or 1600m race (female) within the prescribed time envelope. Points are awarded based on completion speed, making cardiovascular stamina a deciding factor in final merit ranks.
